Restaurant-quality steak in under 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Sirloin Steak or Ribeye:1.5 lbs (cut into 1-inch cubes)
Unsalted Butter: 3 tbsp
Garlic: 4 cloves (minced)
Fresh Rosemary or Thyme: 1 sprig
Olive Oil:1 tbsp
Salt & Cracked Black Pepper: To taste
Red Pepper Flakes: A pinch (optional for heat)
Instructions:
1. Prep the Meat: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
2. The Sear:Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat until it starts to smoke slightly.
3. Cook in Batches: Add the steak bites in a single layer (don't crowd the pan). Sear for 2 minutes per side until a brown crust forms. Remove steak and set aside.
4. The Garlic Butter: Turn heat down to medium. Add butter, minced garlic, and rosemary to the same pan. Stir for 1 minute until the butter is foamy and smells amazing.
5. Combine : Toss the steak bites back into the skillet. Stir for 1 minute to coat every piece in that golden garlic butter.
6. Serve: Remove rosemary sprig and serve immediately. Pairs perfectly with cauliflower mash!
